On Saturday 2nd April 2005 my mother and I went to the Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury to see Dennis Locorriere (the former voice of DR HOOK). When I arrived at the theatre I was struck by the fact that there was only three guitars, a stool and a table with bottles of water on the stage, this, I thought must have been for the support act, I was wrong!!!
Tracks performed on the night included "I Don't Wanna Be Alone Tonight" (which I had actually forgotten), "More Like The Movies", "If Not You", "Ballad Of Lucy Jordan", "Carry Me Carrie", and "Freakin' at the Freakers Ball" along with some new tunes.
When he performed "A Little Bit More" he told us that the american radio stations would not play it as they said it was too rude, this I thought was stupid when you consider "Penicillin Penny".
Through-out the show I was amazed at the guitar playing as I did not know he played the guitar.
The show finished with "Cover of The Rolling Stone" with us (the audience) joining in on the chorus.
